Speech Language Pathologist – Part Time
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in school setting and comfort working with at-risk teens.
Duties:
- Therapist will address communication as it relates to students classroom participation and interactions with staff and peers.
- Goals are in accordance with students IEPs and focused on appropriate language, social pragmatics, emotional regulation and interaction with adults and peers.
- Candidates must be flexible and collaborative, working on a clinical team to determine the most appropriate interventions and goals.
- Collaboration with teachers and staff to integrate strategies into classroom and social settings in the school community.
- Coordination with families and caregivers to integrate communication strategies into home, vocational and non-school settings.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), IEP assessments and goal writing
- Ability to work with a variety of students with individual educational needs.
