Parker Academy is searching for a full time (32-40 hours) School Counselor to provide support to its unique population of students, families, and faculty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping at-risk adolescents succeed in school and in life. They will be expected to collaborate with a clinical team including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Ed coordinator and teachers to integrate interventions into classroom and social settings. This position has flexible hours with pay commensurate with experience.

• Ability to conduct individual and group counseling sessions effectively
• Assist students in developing emotional resilience, coping strategies and healthy relationships with peers, staff and family/caregivers.
• Coordinate with a clinical team including OT, SLP, Special Ed coordinators and teachers to integrate interventions into classroom and social settings.
• Provide interventions and strategies for students facing a myriad of challenges from PTSD, Mood disorders, ADHD, and ASD.

• Licensed psychologist, social worker, or school counselor
• The ideal candidate has experience working with at-risk adolescents
